Harbin Ice Festival 2007

Every year, Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang, a province of China, hosts the Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival. Officially, the festival starts from January 5th and lasts one month. Ice sculpture decoration ranges from the modern technology of lasers to traditional ice lanterns. The following photos are provided by entros. The 2007 festival features a Canadian theme; it now holds the Guinness Record for the largest snow sculpture: 250 meters long and 28 feet high, using over 13,000 cubic meters of snow.
