So Real Even The Customers Don't Know

7.26.2007

Since I'm planning to build my own poker table, I figured I'd buy a can of Scotchguard to protect the surface of the table, and I came across this. I couldn't fit the product description into the picture, so here it is:

Product Description
The Chicago Crime Commission states that a burglar spends an average of 8 minutes in the victims home. Put the odds in your favor...hide your valuables in plain sight. The diversion safes are a unique home-security product. We offer a wide variety of personal care, household products and food containers with removable tops and bottoms.

The rest is self explanatory.

See it for yourself here.

Ferrari Made of Yarn

7.12.2007

A certain Ms. Lauren Porter from Bath Spa University knitted a complete Ferrari for her honors degree. It is supported by a steel frame, with the rest of the bodywork consisting of stitching and embroidery. Instead of doing this, she could have clothed hundreds of African children; but then again, it's so hot in Africa maybe they don't need the clothing. I guess it was a better idea to make the Ferrari then.

Real Life South Park!

7.08.2007

Came across this drawing from pockybox.de of a realistic depiction of the South Park characters. Somewhat similar to the Futurama post I made earlier.
